Flowy Yellow Ribbon
The series with with jewelry depicting celebratory ribbons is part of a larger collection of my works, connected by reflections on celebration and decoration, called "Party's over". After the party is over, only a few odd remains are left. These are signs of what was once a lavish, grotesque, joyful, and luxurious revelry. The ribbon symbolizes what once was and embodies what remains.
